Rock Climbing on Phi Phi Island

Experienced climbers and beginners alike can get their adrenaline pumping on the rocky cliffs that make up the atypical face of the Phi Phi Islands.

Don't go alone: a number of specialized centers offer excursions to the best spots on the island, in complete safety and with the appropriate equipment. They are located in the center of Ton Sai village.

Whether you're alone or in a group, the climbing centers are meeting places for enthusiasts, where you can exchange tips on the best routes.

As you climb, you'll be surrounded by stunning scenery, impressive karst formations and breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea. Each climb offers a unique perspective of Phi Phi Island.

Before you go, make sure you have the proper equipment and are in good physical condition. Although many centers provide all the necessary equipment, it's always a good idea to wear comfortable clothing suitable for climbing. Also remember to stay hydrated and protect yourself from the sun, especially if you plan to climb all day.

Expect to pay around 900 baht for half a day and 1500 baht for a full day. Some spots are only accessible by long tail.
